Resilience is your capacity to navigate adversity, adapt to challenges, and continue moving forward even when things are hard—and research is clear that the primary factor in resilience is having caring and supportive relationships, not individual willpower or grit.
We call it a “lab” because a laboratory is a space designed for experimentation, trial and error, and learning through practice—where failure isn’t something to hide but is actually valuable data about what to try differently next time. In a Resilience Lab, you get to practice new skills like setting boundaries or using your voice in a safe, supportive environment where it’s okay to stumble, where you can refine your approach based on real experience, and where you’re actively building the very relationships that research shows are essential to resilience. The lab removes the pressure of perfection and creates space for both personal growth and genuine connection—because the truth is, we can’t build sustainable resilience alone, and we don’t have to.
